Music Fix with Pogo: The Cure

the cureMusic Fix With Pogo:Alternative music forefathers The Cure are returning with a new album, and are currently on tour. How does a group that began in the late 70's keep up with the times?

They're releasing four singles for download (plus a B-side for each..for a total of 8 tracks..and possibly more, as there might be a remix or two) on the 13th of the month for the next four months, leading up to their 13th studio album (get it?) being released on September 13th. (Apparently, you'll be able to buy the singles in collectible physical CD format, as well)
Unfortunately, their US parent label, Universal, didn't get it together in time, and the first one, called "The Only One", won't be released Stateside until May 20th. No title yet for the album, but you can bet you'll hear a good bit of them when they come to town on Saturday, May 17th @ Allstate Arena. Here's Mr. Robert Smith and company in a video of this first new single, "The Only One":
