Music Fix with Pogo: Urge Overkill

urge overkillMusic Fix With Pogo: A minor musical setback this week in Chicago. We were to have the grand opening of the *new* Bottom Lounge, but the folks behind the venue have encountered yet another set of hurdles. The Bottom Lounge closed about three years ago because of the rebuilding/expanding of the Belmont Brown Line station, and its reincarnation (this time in on the Near West Side) was slated for an opening bash this week with Urge Overkill. No worries, this and any other postponed gig will be rescheduled. In the meantime from 1994, right as we all said to ourselves, "John Travolta is back?!?", here's the very clip that catapulted Urge from a Chicago indie band to worldwide recognition with their Neil Diamond treatment.
