CHICAGOLIVE.COM PRESENTS THE "FUNNIEST HOLIDAY VIDEO" CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
Chicagolive.com wants to see your funniest digital home videos celebrating this holiday season! Submit your holiday home video online at www.chicagolive.com December 15-31, 2007 by noon, and if we think you have the funniest video that best displays the holiday spirit, we'll feature your video on our home page on January 1, 2008!

To Enter: You must be age 13 or older and a legal U.S. resident. Void where prohibited. Employees (and their immediate family or household members) of Chicago Tribune Company ("sponsor") and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising/promotion agencies are not eligible to participate. Log on to www.chicagolive.com and click on the "Best Holiday Videos" icon, and then follow the instructions to upload your homemade digital holiday video and provide your name, email address, video title, video caption, and hometown. Your video must be in one of the following formats: Quicktime (.MOV), Windows Media (.WMV), MPEG 1, MPEG 2 and MPEG4. Your video file must be no larger than 500mb. Enter as many videos as you like. You must be the creator/owner of the video you submit, and you must obtain the consent of anyone else featured in your video to submit your video to this Contest. Do not use copyrighted music or video clips.

Winner: On December 31, 2007 at noon, a panel of judges consisting of the Chicago Tribune/chicagolive.com staff will review all eligible entries and will choose one winning holiday video, subject to eligibility verification and rules compliance, based upon the following judging criteria: creativity/humor (50%), incorporation of holiday theme (30%), and overall synchronization of elements (20%). The decisions of the judges are incontestable, final and binding. The Winner's holiday home video entry will be featured on the chicagolive.com home page and aired on CLTV on January 1, 2008.

Other Conditions: Video entries that are not the entrants' own original creations, have already been published, violate the rights of any other person or entity (including but not limited to copyrights or trademarks), contain offensive, defamatory, vulgar or profane content or are unfit for publication/display, as determined solely by Sponsors, or contain fraudulent or false information about the entrants, shall be disqualified. All entries become the property of chicagolive.com, and none will be returned. By entering this contest, each entrant agrees to (1) allow use of his/her name, voice, photograph, likeness, video, any information provided on entry form, including the video entry, in any medium of communication, including but not limited to print, Internet, radio and/or television and for any purpose, including advertising, promotional or other purposes, by Sponsor and its licensees and affiliates, without additional compensation; and (2) release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents from any and all injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorney's fees) resulting from the entrants' participation in this contest. Chicagolive.com reserves the right to publish entrant videos online or entrant video stills in print in the Chicago Tribune or RedEye newspapers. All entries are subject to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy posted on the chicagolive.com website.
